About the Position

TransForce is seeking a dependable Non-CDL Box Truck Delivery Driver for a local electrical supply delivery operation in Johnson City, New York. This position offers consistent Monday-through-Friday work, early morning starts, and home daily. Drivers will operate a 26-foot box truck, delivering electrical supplies to customers while assisting with loading, unloading, and freight handling.

Pay & Schedule

• $20.00–$21.00 per hour
• Monday through Friday, 4:30 AM start until route completion

Job Details

• Route type: Local, multiple delivery stops, approx 150 miles daily
• Equipment: 26-foot box truck with liftgate
• Transmission: Automatic
• Freight: Electrical supplies
• Handling: Driver load and unload, with pallet jack available
• Driving: Approximately 60% of the workday
• Physical requirements: Lifting up to 50 lbs., with stairs required at some deliveries

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a 26-foot box truck on assigned local delivery routes.
• Deliver electrical supplies to customers safely and on schedule.
• Load, organize, and unload freight using available material-handling equipment.
• Assist with breaking down and preparing materials for loading.
• Obtain customer signatures or delivery scans to confirm completed deliveries.
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and communicate route concerns with dispatch.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Provide professional customer service at each delivery location.
• Follow all applicable safety and transportation regulations.

Minimum Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant and verifiable experience operating large delivery vehicles
• Valid non-CDL driver's license
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no moving violations
• Experience safely maneuvering and parking large vehicles
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical loading and unloading duties
• Must meet all applicable DOT requirements
