About the Position

TransForce is seeking dependable CDL Class A Delivery Drivers for dedicated automotive parts delivery routes in Conneaut, Ohio. This position offers consistent Monday-through-Friday evening and overnight work, home daily, and well-maintained automatic equipment. Drivers will deliver automotive parts to established dealerships using liftgate-equipped trailers and easy-to-handle rolling cages.

Pay & Schedule

• Earn up to $82,000 per year, depending on route assignment
• Monday through Friday, home daily
• Available start times: 3:15 PM or 11:00 PM
  • Routes average 7–8.5 hours
  • Full-time, dedicated evening and overnight routes

Job Details

• Route type: Dedicated local automotive delivery
• Equipment: 48' or 53' tractor-trailers with liftgates
• Transmission: Automatic
• Freight: Automotive parts delivered to dealerships
• Handling: Rolling cages, pallet jacks, and material-handling equipment
• Technology: GPS, integrated scanning, and dispatch support

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a CDL Class A tractor-trailer on assigned automotive delivery routes.
• Deliver automotive parts to dealerships within scheduled delivery windows.
• Safely load and unload freight using liftgates, rolling cages, and pallet jacks.
• Complete unattended deliveries and maintain accurate delivery records.
• Use GPS, scanning, and dispatch technology to manage routes.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Communicate delays, delivery issues, or route concerns to dispatch.
• Follow all applicable safety and transportation regulations.

Minimum Requirements

• 18+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable Class A tractor-trailer driving experience
• Valid CDL Class A license
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Ability to repeatedly lift 50+ lbs. and perform physical freight handling
• Ability to pass required physical ability testing
• Delivery or route-driving experience preferred
• Comfortable working independently on evening or overnight routes
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
